Emily and Amy Chung grew up in South London, with Anglo-Burmese-Chinese heritage.
Growing up, the kitchen was the heart of the sisters’ home and their parents were eager for them to try a multitude of cuisines – and to get involved in making them. With a talent for science (culinary and clinical), both sisters ended up studying Medicine and became doctors, while still maintaining a passion for cooking and entertaining.
In 2013, the sisters launched a Burmese supper club, which soon became one of the hottest culinary events in London. They haven’t looked back since.
