Claire Barker is the author of two award-winning series for children: Knitbone Pepper Ghost Dog and Picklewitch and Jack.

For many years Claire lived on a small farm in Devon, where she grew apples and sunflowers. Now, in a shepherd’s hut at the end of her garden, she writes stories that have a twinkle of magic.
