Edward Docx was born in 1972. His previous novels are The Calligrapher, Self Help, and The Devil’s Garden. He contributes regularly to many of the leading British and American newspapers, including the Guardian, The Times and Prospect magazine, where he is an associate editor. He lives and works in London.
