Ewan Gass is a writer, critic, and teacher based in Cambridge. He was shortlisted for the 2020 White Review Short Story Prize for his short story Questionnaire. Variations on the First-Person Plural appears in 3:AM Magazine, and his latest story The Blind is out now in Granta. Clinical Intimacy, his first novel, was published by Doubleday in 2024. It was shortlisted for the McKitterick Prize in 2025.
