Gavin is based in Oxford. His work and travels have taken him across Africa, Latin America, Europe and Asia. Having seen so much of the world, his writing concerns the turbulent and chaotic transition zone between the concrete now and an abstract future. And, of course, the regenerative power of storytelling.
His first book, Lament for the Fallen, was published by Transworld in Spring 2016. His second, Our Memory Like Dust, was published by Transworld in 2017.
