Hilary Norman was born in London. After working as an actress and in broadcasting, she wrote her first novel, In Love and Friendship, which became a New York Times bestseller and was translated into seventeen languages. She continued writing sagas before turning to psychological suspense and thrillers, including Mind Games and Whirlwind. She has travelled and researched extensively in Europe and the United States, where she lived for a time. She now lives in London. Her latest novel/thriller, Prey, will be published in October.
