Julia Langdon has been a journalist since 1964. She worked as a general news reporter, a gossip columnist and in New York as a foreign correspondent before she began writing about politics at Westminster in 1971. She was the first woman to be political editor for the Daily Mirror in 1984. She has worked as a freelance writer since 1992 and her columns have appeared across a wide range of newspapers and magazines. She frequently presents a range of television and radio programmes on politics and current affairs. Julia is currently working on a biography of another prominant political figure.
