Kirsten Ellis

Kirsten Ellis was born in New Zealand. She has lived and worked as a reporter and freelance writer in Hong Kong, India, Cyprus and New York. Star of the Morning, The Extraordinary Life of Lady Hester Stanhope is her first biography. Researching this book took her back to Israel, Lebanon, Syria and Turkey from the south of England where she now lives with her husband and their young son.
