    Luke Allan is Editor-in-chief of Oxford Poetry. Born and raised in rural Northumberland, his work has received the Charles Causley International Poetry Prize, the Mairtín Crawford Award, and the Westerly Life Writing Prize, and was shortlisted for the Fitzcarraldo Essay Prize. His poems are published in the Literary Review, The Poetry Review, The White Review, and the TLS. A chapbook, Sweet Dreams, the Sea, was selected by Ishion Hutchinson to receive the 2023 PSA Chapbook Fellowship and is forthcoming from the Poetry Society of America in 2024. He studied creative writing at UEA and Oxford, and Book Arts at the University of Iowa, where he was an Iowa Arts Fellow. He is currently a doctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge, researching poetry and typography.
