Niyati Keni

Niyati Keni was born in London of Indian parents. She studied Medicine in London and works as a Palliative Care physician. Niyati has an MA in Writing from Sheffield Hallam University, from which she graduated with distinction in 2007. She has travelled extensively within Asia, including in the Philippines where her first novel, Esperanza Street, is set. Esperanza Street was published by And Other Stories in 2015. Niyati is based in West Sussex where she lives with her daughter. She is working on her second novel.
