Saghar Setareh was born in 1985 in Tehran, Iran. After graduating in Visual Communication in 2007, she came to Rome, Italy to continue her studies in Rome’s Fine Art Academy in graphic design and photography. In 2014 she opened her food and photography blog, Lab Noon, which received public interest and praise since the beginning. Her blog has been nominated twice for the prestigious Saveur Blog Awards of SAVEUR magazine; for “Best Special Interest” in 2015 and for “Best Photography” in 2017. She has also been nominated twice for “Cucina Blog Awards” by Corriere della Sera, Italy’s most important daily paper.
Saghar runs both Persian and Italian cooking classes in different cities of Italy. Saghar also works as a professional photographer for both commercial and editorial projects. She runs food photography workshops as well as long photographic and culinary retreats in beautiful locations in Italy and beyond.
Saghar is currently working on her first cookbook which will be published by Murdoch Books in 2022.
