Tara O’Reilly is an activist, journalist and former Westminster staffer. She experienced homelessness and poverty as a child on council estates in inner London, and dropped out of school before working her way up through the Labour Party to rub shoulders with some of the most powerful people in Britain. When she was in Westminster she made a name for herself by calling out injustice - mainly sexual harassment and bullying by senior politicians - and highlighting the rampant misogynyand classism that infests the Houses of Parliament.
She has written for ELLE UK, The Times, New Statesman, Prospect Magazine, Grazia, and others on well kept Westminster secrets: from abuse by MPs to the culture of drinking and poor mental health in the corridors of power.
