AM Heath: Translation Rights Executive/Senior Rights Executive
We are looking for an energetic, proactive and organised person to join the dynamic team at AM Heath as a Rights Executive or Senior Rights Executive, depending on experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least two years’ experience in publishing, who is looking to take the next step in their career.
AM Heath is a tight-knit and supportive company. Our agency list covers a broad range of fiction, non-fiction, children’s books & YA, and ranges from the most iconic authors of the 20th century, to the top ranks of literary and commercial success today.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, good commercial awareness, and a keen interest in the international markets. Our ideal candidate is an avid reader of books across a wide range of genres, and someone keen to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, publishers, co-agents and scouts.
The role will involve selling translation rights across several territories – both direct and co-agented – as well as some administration including drafting contracts.
While we are currently working remotely, this role will be at least partly based in our London office once it reopens. We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented in the creative industries.
We are offering a minimum salary of £27,000.
