Dale Halvorsen is the co-creator of the Vertigo original horror series Survivors’ Club with Lauren Beukes and Ryan Kelly. He also collaborated with Lauren on one-shot comics ‘Durham Red’ for 2000AD, and ‘CHUM’ in Strange Sports Stories (Vertigo). His short story credits include 'This Book Will Find You' (The Outcast Hours, Solaris Press, 2019) co-written with Lauren Beukes and Sam Beckbessinger. He’s also an internationally award-winning book cover designer, graphic designer and illustrator who is a little too obsessed with horror films, their run times, and that Count Orlock only blinks once in Nosferatu. He’s proudly autistic. He lives in Cape Town, South Africa.
