David Conn

David Conn is the foremost investigative writer working on English football. His first book, The Football Business, published in 1997, was widely acclaimed for exposing the divide between the winners and losers when the big money poured into the English Premier League. His latest book, The Fall of the House of Fifa, was published in 2017. He was a columnist for six years in The Independent and since 2005 has been a sports columnist for The Guardian, chronicling the major stories in English football. He has won numerous awards and in 2009 was nominated for Sports Journalist of the Year and Sports News Reporter of the Year in the main British press awards. He lives in the north of England with his wife and two daughters.
