J G Murray is the winner of the 2018 Deviant Minds Thriller Prize and the author of the psychological thriller The Bridal Party.
He studied Creative Writing at Warwick University and has lived in Brussels, Bangkok and London. He has won numerous prizes for his short stories and has seen his fiction featured in a number of publications such as If You Could Only See Yourself and Other Stories, History Will be Kind and BFS Horizons. In 2018, Julian contributed to 24 Stories, an anthology raising money for the victims of Grenfell featuring the likes of Irvine Welsh, Chris Brookmyre and AL Kennedy.
