Jane Lawes

Jane Lawes grew up in Surrey with her parents, her younger sister and an assortment of pets. She studied American Literature with Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia and spent three years there reading good books and writing stories. She has worked in publishing as an Editor across education and non-fiction as well as at a theatre, creating programmes for ballet performances. As a child, she loved gymnastics and dancing. Every summer, she wore the garden out practising gymnastics and always secretly wished she was good enough to be a champion gymnast.

She still enjoys watching gym competitions on TV and dances whenever she can.
