Jason Wallace
Represented by
Julia Churchill
Born in Cheltenham in 1969, Jason Wallace lived a fairly uneventful English life until, aged 13, his world turned upside when his family emigrated to Zimbabwe in 1983.
It was this life, combined with the experience of a hard – but excellent – boarding school, that formed the bare bones of his first published novel, Out of Shadows, which won him the Costa Children’s Award, the Branford Boase Award and the UKLA, and shortlisted him for the Carnegie Medal and the Booktrust Teenage Prize.
His second novel, Encounters, was published in April 2018.
Jason is now back living in England, with his girlfriend and young son.
