Michelle Harrison is the author of twenty books for children, published in twenty-five territories worldwide. Her debut novel, 13 Treasures, won the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, and A Pinch of Magic received a Dutch Bronze Pen award. She also won the Calderdale Children’s Book of the Year for The Other Alice.
Prior to writing full time, Michelle’s jobs included working in a bar and a bakery. She was then a Waterstones bookseller before becoming an editorial assistant for Oxford University Press. She has a degree in illustration and lives in Essex with her son and cats.
