Mike Rampton is an author and journalist. His first book, Open In Case Of Emergency, a collection of 501 games for children, came out in 2020. He has written for Mental Floss, HuffPost, Esquire, Vice, GQ, ShortList, Kerrang!, The Guardian, MEL and many others about everything –  from what happens if you stare into a microwave to how to figure out whether anyone has ever died in your house. His favourite colour is green and he usually needs a haircut.
