Born in Scotland, Morag emigrated to South Africa when she was 10, but returned to Scotland when she was 16, and has lived there ever since. She has written historical romance, as well as historical fiction more generally, under the names Anne Fraser and Emma Fraser, but as Morag Pringle she writes crime. Book 3 in the Rachel Mackenzie series, The Final Truth, was published by Storm Publishing in January 2025. Morag's latest book, Valley of the Fireflies, written under Emma Fraser, will be published in 2026.
