Peter Ross is author of Steeple Chasing: Around Britain by Church, a Sunday Times bestseller. His other books include A Tomb With A View: The Stories & Glories of Graveyards and Upon A White Horse: Journeys in Ancient Britain and Ireland, both of which were adapted for Radio 4’s Book of the Week. Tomb was named Non-Fiction Book of the Year at The Saltires, Scotland’s national book awards. Peter is an Orwell Journalism Fellow and a nine-times winner at the Scottish Press Awards. He writes for national and international publications including the Smithsonian Magazine. He has also worked in radio and television. He lives in Glasgow, with a view of the tombs.
