Vala Thorodds is a writer, poet and translator based between Reykjavík and Cambridge. She is founding director of the literary press Partus and managing editor of Oxford Poetry. Her work is published in The Guardian, Granta, The White Review, PN Review, The Penguin Book of the Prose Poem and Carcanet’s New Poetries series. For her translations she has received a PEN/Heim grant and the World Literature Today Translation Prize.
