Tim Pritchard is an independent film-maker. While filming in Iraq in 2003 he came across the story of the first firefight of the conflict. American marines charged with taking two strategic bridges in Nasiriyah, were diverted by the presence of a US Army group who should not have been anywhere in the vicinity. This infamous misplaced Army platoon included Jessica Lynch and the diversion resulted in the marines, when they finally returned to their objective, taking the heaviest losses incurred during any single engagement of the war. Pritchard has talked to the key players in Alpha, Bravo and Charlie companies and tells the graphic, terrifying story of the battle for Nasiriyah in their own words.
