Harry Thompson worked on Radio 4's News Quiz and on Have I Got News For You, of which he was the founding producer and co-writer. He produced and wrote for many other TV shows including They Think It's All Over and Harry Enfield and Chums. He is the biographer of Hergé, creator of Tintin, and the legendary Peter Cook. His novel 'This Thing of Darkness' was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize 2005.
