Mark Chadbourn is an award-winning author, a screenwriter with many hours of produced work and a former newspaper and magazine journalist reporting from across the world. His colourful life includes stints running an independent record company, managing bands, working on a production line, and as a 'fitter's mate' at a power station. He is a two-time winner of the prestigious British Fantasy Award, for his novella The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke, based on the painting by Richard Dadd, and for his short story, Whisper Lane. Mark also writes the Hereward series of historical novels, under the pseudonym James Wilde.
